Brad’s Musings and Meanderings

meeb9.jpgHere are some assorted shots with applicable comments of some various other activities in which our gang partook during our weeklong stay in Myrtle Beach from July 24-29, 2000. They illustrate the typical goings-on at any given weeklong stay at the Links condo in North Myrtle Beach (as you can clearly tell from other Myrtle Beach vacations that I have already posted!) The best thing, as always, is just being with my family. Although Lisa and I would soon be separating, I still have fond memories of this, our last trip together.

The disaster reaches its climax

Of all things on this trip, the thing I can remember best is that Chris and I decided to ride along with Grandma and Grandpa Murphy on the way home (and help drive, of course). We had a nice time listening to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass along the way, stopping for dinner at Applebees, and staying in a motel - while the others drove it home in one day. We didn’t get home until Sunday, July 30. The most bizarre thing during that drive was stopping at a rest stop in Northern Kentucky and running into my Dad and Vicki who were on their back from the Hudson Nationals in Orlando. Small world.

Strange days ahead. 2000 will continue
