The atmosphere and surroundings of the Links Room 103 (as well as 19 where my Mom and Bob were staying on this particular 2000 trip) is one of the sentimental draws of Myrtle Beach. I have more (and better) memories of our Windy Shores stays over the years, but the Links has also cemented many good times in my mind. Here are a batch of photos with corresponding wiseass comments, mostly taken either inside the condo rooms or just outside in front of the relaxing pond and fountain. I have never fished in the pond that I recall, but others obviously have. Good times indeed.

The one that didn’t get away.

The usually-adorable Briana tries her hand at the dumb look in this shot with Ashleigh and me

This picture of Brittney and her friend, Debby, and Lisa sitting on Chris’ lap was taken before Denise and I arrived in Myrtle Beach. If I had been there, Lisa would never have been sitting on Chris’ lap. Only I sit on Chris’ lap.

At ten, Ashleigh wasn’t yet too cool for dolls

Briana kicks back after a hearty meal. Adorable.

No, yours is the lap upon which I sit. Recognize.
