My step-brother Bryan celebrated his college graduation at a party at his new home on Sunday, July 1. His degree is in Communications. Actually, it was a housewarming of sorts as well. He had moved into his new home on Arbor Avenue (just a few streets over from the house I was born into on John Glenn) in the latter part of 2006. But he and Erine were now celebrating the fact that they had spent the last nine months getting it fixed up and decorated. Indeed it was nice…and I was most impressed that he now had a 57″ widescreen TV almost like mine. I’d like to think I taught that boy what kind of TV every man needs.
As always, with any family get-together the food was the focal point and star of the show. Not only were the bulk of my Mom’s family in attendance, but there were many from Bryan’s family, both on his Mom and Dad’s side…as well as numerous friends (who sat among themselves at the ‘kids’ table). Hot dogs, chicken wings, barbecue, freshly deep-friend egg rolls, and mounds of cheesecake were all responisble for forcing me to happily fill up my tanks.
The day was beautiful and I parked myself outside under one of the two tents that were set up and enjoyed the fresh air and company of my family. Adam sat himself with me for a good portion of my stay. As you can see from the pictures below, I didn’t move much. Anyone who wanted to be in a picture pretty much had to come to me!

After my enjoyable afternoon at Bryan and Erine’s, I stopped by Jackie’s apartment for the first time for a visit. The photo I snapped of her has nothing to do with Bryan’s graduation, but it was so captivating that I had to include it!
