The Terrible Catsafterme

I have no explanation as to why when I made the original posting about Ashleigh’s first birthday, I was only able to locate a measly three photos. I have since found three more, and more importantly the entire roll of negatives. So with my handy-dandy negative scanner I can now display and preserve these priceless, long-forgotten photos - most of which I can not ever recall having seen before.

The photos don’t shed much light on why there were two birthday celebrations for Ashleigh, but the order of the negatives do indicate that the party that was first was the one in which she was only wearing her one-piece and I was wearing my fabulous Hot in the Shade KISS tour t-shirt. In my infinite wisdom, my guess would be that we had a cake for her on her actual first birthday on Thursday, March 21 and then had a more formal party for relatives (and actually had her dressed and the place somewhat decorated) on that following weekend.

In any case, here are more photos to ogle.

 Ashleigh genuinely seems interested in what I’m saying. Of course she still does that now - but I know better.
